CONVOCATION INFO
The Convocation Address will be given by John Paul Kusz, Center for Sustainable Enterprise, IIT Stuart Graduate School of Business. John received his BFA in Industrial Design from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Tickets are required for families and guests at the Art + Design Ceremony.Graduates must pick up tickets from Melissa Madsen in room 142 Art + Design by 12:00 p.m. (noon) on Friday, May 15.
Immediately following the ceremony, a reception to honor graduates, families, and friends will be held in the Link Gallery at 408 East Peabody Drive, Champaign, Illinois. Invitations were mailed to graduates and parents of graduates in late March. Graduates will also receive instructions on reservations, tickets, regalia, diploma presentation, and the ceremony. All graduates, whether participating in the ceremony or not, should complete the Convocation Ceremony Form, preferably online.
The 2009 BFA Graduate Exhibition in the Krannert Art Museum will be viewable by visitors to the reception. Box lunches may be reserved in advance, by special order only, and will be served at the reception. To order lunches please return the Box Lunch Order Form, with payment by Friday, May 1, 2009.
Hard copies of the Convocation Ceremony Form and the Box Lunch Order Form have been mailed to parents and students. Students may also complete the Convocation Ceremony Form online.
