The Graduate Program of the School of Art + Design at the University of Illinois is committed to training artists, designers, educators, critics, curators, and historians of visual art and culture at the highest professional levels. The Art Education Program offers an EDM, MA, and PhD degree and the Art History Program offers both an MA and a PhD degree. The Studio and Design Program offers an MFA degree with concentrations in Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Photography, Metal, Ceramics, and an interdisciplinary Studio which includes concentrations in Painting, Sculpture, and a specialization in New Media.
