Art Education Minor

The Community-Based Art Education Minor is designed for students who seek to study the role of the visual arts in a variety of locations including cultural centers, museums, hospitals, nursing homes, adult day care centers, schools, recreation centers, and other community settings. In addition to the completion of the required art education foundation courses, students choose electives in art education, art history, design, and art studio.
