A+D students take 2nd in Solar Decathalon
A team of students including Art + Design majors won second place in the U.S. Department of Energy Solar Decathalon competition this week. The Illinois entry, Gable House, also took top honors in the hot water, appliances, and home entertainment categories and second place in lighting design, comfort, and net metering.
